My name is Oolani Morgan Simpson.

My given name ,‘Oolani’ represents creativity, curiosity, charm, good cheer and friendliness. Oolani is a very uncommon name, but I often get compliments on it. My Dad had a student named Oolani in Qiqitarjuaq, Nunavut and he thought she and her name were beautiful. So I am Oolani. My Mom and Dad gave me the middle name Morgan which they knew to represent strength .

I am an Inuk and was born in Iqaluit, Nunavut in 1987. I lived most of my life in Canada’s North. I have very beautiful daughters. They fill me with pride and joy every single day.

Andy and I live on Vancouver Island, Canada. We love the island for its spectacular scenery and friendly communities.

Every day is a new day to create and produce new craft products. I love creating new items that bring smiles to my customers faces. Every holiday or occasion means that there are additional opportunities to create.
